Founder of Sahaj Care N Cure
Sanjay K. Sharma
Sanjay began his career in the 1990s in India, working as an engineer in plastic extrusion, PVC and polyester yarn manufacturing company. During this time, he witnessed the lack of healthcare in remote villages, where unqualified individuals often posed as medical professionals, leading to preventable suffering. Though his career eventually took him to the U.S., where he transitioned to the tech industry, specializing in ERP systems, data management, and data governance, these experiences of healthcare inequity never left him.
Years later, in background in data management and process optimization inspired him to address this gap in healthcare. Sanjay envisioned organizing free medical camps to provide primary care to underprivileged areas, bringing essential services like check-ups, diagnostics, and health education to communities that lacked access. Sanjay has taken a humble step of starting 3 medical clinics and eventually plans to create a sustainable framework for these initiatives.
Now, the commitment is to building partnerships with healthcare professionals, private & government hospitals and NGOs to bring this vision to life. The aim is to ensure that people in rural areas receive the healthcare they deserve, empowering them with knowledge and resources to lead healthier lives. A large country like India needs more resources and we will work our way to create these resources.
